This is Hard

Hey friend! Welcome to the transparency corner, the place where I tell you, I almost didn't write this post.

I'll begin with this: what we do isn't about us; it's about God and the souls that will be saved.

If you ever wondered when I write my posts, well, I try to ensure they are written before I venture to the land of nods, on a Tuesday. This way, I get to schedule the post to get to you by 8am on Wednesdays. Last week, I completely forgot to send out the email newsletter, and every time I remembered, I couldn't get it done. So, here we are. Today.

: Just a side note - If you haven't subscribed to receive the newsletters, I think you should, you get a song for the day over there : Today I want to share with you, this is hard. It is hard to try to keep on top of things, especially leading a full life, as a human who works full-time, writes articles for church, which one day I really should start to link over here, mini portfolio if you may, as well as the Bible studies, as an attendee as well as a facilitator, amongst the rest of life. This is hard.

I am not the person who has normal Sundays or normal weekends as a matter of fact. I am an on-the-go person, and whatever happens, happens; therefore, I'm not always able to use my Sundays to write these. To be quite honest with you, there are times my mind feels numb, which means producing quality writing isn't always simple.

I feel I have made an agreement with God to do this once a week, and I know, in time, He will give me the time and thoughts so I can produce without the restrictions of time. I can't choose to skip a week because I know what it is like when it comes to that one week skip, which turns into two, which turns into two months, which becomes two years, and you catch my drift, right? This is not a project to test the waters and see how long I can go without writing. This one requires that I show up and do the work that I agreed I would do.

All that to say, please see this as an apology for not having the usual type of blog post ☺️.
